The good thing is that this has been one of only two pieces ive ever had an issue with. Im just happy most of the steel i get is worth the money I spend on it. Back when I lived in Idaho Id of had no issue finding free scrap steel, but where I live now its tough.
You know as much as people rail against found steels I do love making my tools from them. Hey they work well enough and I really haven't had any problems.
